Literary Reception – 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm - Books, Blues and Barbecue
Central Library (Downtown Buffalo)
Kick-off the Buffalo Book Fair on Friday, July 6th at the downtown Central Library and celebrate Books, Blues & Barbecue! Enjoy a beautiful summer evening, great food catered by Fables Cafe and live music outside on the Library's front ramp or inside the main concourse. This is a wonderful opportunity to mingle with the book fair's featured authors and presenters! Come for the relaxed atmosphere and get ready for an exciting weekend celebrating our City! Proceeds from the event benefit the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library and Literacy Volunteers of Buffalo & Erie County. Tickets $30.00
TICKETS: We have discounted tickets to our participating local and regional authors. The cost is $25.00 per ticket for the opening event. If you are interested, please let me know.
Saturday, July 7, 2007 - Book Fair - Downtown Buffalo – 11:00 am – 7:00 pm.
CHECK IN – Upon your arrival, you can check in at the BUFFALO BOOK FAIR Administration Tent facing the Library on Washington Street for additional information. The tent will display a banner with the name of the tent.
You will be given a book fair booklet.
YOUR PARTICIPATION
Please note that each author’s presentation will follow with a book signing that will take place in one of the book seller’s tents. There are volunteers to assist you.
